Psychotherapy is a talk-based, collaborative, & supportive process that occurs through the therapeutic relationship between therapist and client. This approach is designed to help create positive change in your thinking, feeling, behaviour, and/or social functioning and relationships. Together, through the application of different therapeutic modalities, client & clinician work to improve your quality of life, your mental, emotional, spiritual, & physical health, and your sense of overall well-being.
Coaching takes a strengths-based and appreciative approach that focuses on creating new awareness. Coaching helps you close the gap between where you currently are and where you want to be, identify the obstacles keeping you from living the life you desire, and supports you in the creation of a plan to help get you there, including measurable milestones along the way. Through a collaborative, future-focused, and goal-oriented partnership, coaching helps you gain clarity and confidence in order to live your most fulfilling life.
